It’s time again for another remote group qigong healing session: Sunday, November 7th, from 10-11 a.m., Pacific Time.

If you want a general overview about qigong and how to sign up, please go to my December 6, 2009 blog in Archives. I do need you to sign up so that I can place your name in the healing circle.

In a group healing session, I will sit comfortably, breathing deeply to bring myself into a meditative healing state. I ask the participant to do the same thing – find a comfortable  position – sitting, lying down, standing -  breath down and relax. I go through the same process whether I am with the person, on the phone, or sending remote healing.  I will request healing for the person by name, make any requests they have, then the healing begins.

I never know what transpires in these sessions. I leave that up to Spirit. That’s why the client’s feedback is important and serves a dual purpose. It confirms whether their experience correlates with mine. And,  it allows the client to bring the experience into consciousness.  Awareness is key, as is participating in the healing process.

I also never know how long the sessions will take, although they generally last 30-40 minutes. Of course, the larger the group, the more time I will need to place everyone’s name and requests into the healing circle. I know when to stop because the energy leaves me.  It is important to know that while the energy leaves me as a signal to stop, the healing continues another 24-36 hours for the participants.

For best healing results, please follow guidelines below:

  • Eat light one hour before healing
  • Hydrate before and after healing
  • Wear loose comfortable clothes
  • Best to be indoors so you are not distracted by outside elements
  • Find a place where you are not disturbed. That means turning off your cell phone and all other electronic equipment
  • Be quiet and relax at least several hours after healing
  • Feedback and q&a in Comments Section helps to build support network. Please use initials or first names for confidentiality. Everything will be held in strictest confidence.

*These sessions DO NOT replace seeing a physician or a licensed psychotherapist for trauma treatment. In fact,  you need to seek such treatment to deal effectively with your symptoms.

Each healing takes its own shape, and this one was no different. It feels like, each time, I go into the qi state much deeper. I had the image of all the participants being held in the arms of Spirit, a quiet nurturing sensation surrounding each one.

And, when I came out after the hour of healing, I thought I’d been in the healing state for only 10 minutes.

The theme of the healing this time was about multiple traumas. It’s difficult enough to live through one traumatic event; however, having to deal with two or three concurrently is too much to ask of anyone. Read the rest of this entry »

Thank you to those who participated in Sunday’s free remote healing.

The general reading this time was about grieving and grounding.  Anyone who has undergone a trauma, whether it be abuse of some kind, a deep loss, death of a loved one loses their grounding. It’s like the rug has been pulled out from under them. And, the only way to come back to that grounding is to grieve. Read the rest of this entry »

I thank you all for sharing this healing with me.

This is the first time I’ve had an equal number of women and men in the group. I usually have more women. So, the healing felt very different this time, a combination of direct and subtle energy – a good mix. Read the rest of this entry »

It never ceases to amaze me that each healing session is so different, affirming that we are all unique individuals and that Spirit answers our specific needs . This time, I was guided to spend a certain amount of time with each person in the healing circle, then send healing to the group . Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve conducted many remote group healings over the last 28 years. However, this morning’s was the first one specifically for trauma survivors and practitioners. I hope to continue these sessions for a long time.

I would really appreciate knowing whether this was helpful, what you got out of it, not only at the time but over the course of the next week or two. Since healing is non-linear, whatever you receive may or may not be immediate. Remember, it differs for everyone. So, different aspects may show up over time.

What I’d like to do now is share my experience with you. As I said in my last posting, I never know what will come about during these healings. I simply go into a meditative healing state, get out-of-the-way, and allow the healing and messages (if any) come through. Read the rest of this entry »
